By promoting restorative principles, practices, and initiatives throughout Maryland, the CRI plays a vital role in protecting the dignity and freedom of all people. We do this by:

• Providing legislative briefings about restorative initiatives.

• Convening our well-renowned, biennial restorative justice conference.

• Hosting monthly meetings where restorative justice experts and novices share information and resources about restorative approaches in our work and Marylanders' lives.

• Networking with passionate professionals in the restorative justice field.

• Collaborating with and supporting other restorative justice programs and networks in Maryland.

• Helping K-12 schools and universities, law enforcement, organizations, and communities to better understand and embrace restorative practices.
